Kavitha’s Sensational Comments on Harish Rao, Fresh Demand on KCR Shakes Telangana Politics

BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha once again stirred Telangana politics with her sensational remarks. She targeted senior BRS leader Harish Rao, former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Kavitha made these comments during the ongoing Assembly sessions, amid controversy over irrigation and water projects. Her statements triggered sharp political debate across the state.

Kavitha openly questioned Harish Rao’s political role and conduct. Her sharp remarks became a major topic of discussion within the BRS. She alleged that “package politics” and internal manipulation were harming the party. She also criticized the way leaders were appointed to key Assembly positions. Her strong language against Harish Rao created controversy both inside and outside the party.

Kavitha then turned her focus to KCR. She said the BRS cannot survive unless KCR attends the Assembly. She demanded that KCR personally respond to allegations related to major irrigation projects, including the Palamuru–Ranga Reddy project. Kavitha insisted that such explanations should not be left to other leaders.

Speaking emotionally, Kavitha said her “blood is boiling” as KCR’s daughter. She expressed anger over repeated attacks on his leadership and the party. She strongly objected to the language used by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy against KCR. According to her, such remarks crossed all political limits.

Kavitha also alleged that “match-fixing politics” was happening in the Assembly. She warned that the ruling Congress would be held responsible. She added that if the BRS takes an alternative path, Jagriti, the organization she leads, will continue fighting for public causes.

Responding to Revanth Reddy’s statements on irrigation projects, Kavitha raised pointed questions. She asked how many development projects the Chief Minister had brought to his home district, Mahabubnagar. She accused the Congress government of claiming credit for projects initiated during the BRS regime.

With these explosive remarks, Kavitha reignited internal debate within the BRS. She also intensified the political clash between the ruling Congress and the opposition. Her comments have set the stage for heated discussions in the upcoming Assembly sessions.
