YS Sharmila Criticizes Pawan Kalyan’s Shift in Political Stance
Sharmila Responds to Pawan Kalyan’s Political Stance
YS Sharmila, APCC president, has sharply criticized Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister in his Political Stance, for his recent comments about Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. According to Sharmila, Pawan Kalyan’s support for a particular religion, while holding a public office, is deeply concerning.
She questioned how Pawan, who gained support from voters across various religions, could now back only one. Furthermore, Sharmila claimed that Pawan was acting under the influence of Prime Minister Modi. His recent behavior, including his words and attire, reflects a notable change since assuming office.
Sharmila Questions Pawan’s Sudden Shift in Political Stance
Sharmila specifically questioned the sudden transformation in Pawan’s political stance. “Why this sudden change?” she asked. As the Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan should be above caste and religious lines, she argued. Instead, he seems to be aligning himself with one religion. Sharmila warned that this could create unease among other communities.
Accusations of Aligning with the RSS
Sharmila also accused Pawan of acting as an RSS agent. She said that the Jana Sena Party, once seen as secular, now appears to be leaning towards right-wing ideologies. She stressed that many voters feel betrayed by this shift.
Defending Rahul Gandhi
Sharmila went on to criticize Pawan Kalyan for targeting Rahul Gandhi. Referring to the Manipur violence, she stated that Prime Minister Modi failed to stop the unrest and protect Christians in the state. On the other hand, she praised Rahul Gandhi for spreading unity through his Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Sharmila emphasized that Pawan Kalyan has no moral right to criticize Rahul Gandhi. She defended Gandhi’s efforts to bring the country together through love and brotherhood, while contrasting it with what she called Pawan’s divisive politics.
Conclusion: Sharmila’s Strong Rebuttal
Sharmila’s words reflect her belief that Pawan Kalyan has abandoned secular values. She criticized his alignment with the RSS and questioned his suitability for a Constitutional position. In her view, Pawan’s new stance could alienate those who once supported him.
