YCP Strikes Back at Vijayamma: The YS Family Rift Deepens
YCP Responds to Vijayamma’s Claims in YS Family Dispute
The YS family conflict in Andhra Pradesh is heating up, drawing public attention as YS Jagan Mohan Reddy faces criticism from his mother, Vijayamma, over the treatment of his sister, Sharmila. Vijayamma’s recent open letter claimed Jagan acted unfairly toward Sharmila, especially regarding family assets. In response, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YCP) issued a strong counter, questioning Vijayamma’s loyalty and intentions. YCP retaliates against Vijayamma’s open letter supporting Sharmila, intensifying the ys family dispute with pointed allegations.
Sharp Criticisms and Legal Concerns
In its reply, YCP raised concerns about the assets of the Saraswati Power Company. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has reportedly frozen these assets. According to YCP, any changes could cause legal issues for Jagan, potentially leading to jail time. YCP also expressed frustration over Vijayamma’s recent support for Congress, reminding her that it was Congress who jailed Jagan for 16 months in the past.
Sharmila’s Rights in Asset Disputes
YCP’s response also questioned Sharmila’s entitlement to family assets. They stated that Jagan had previously allocated property worth over Rs 200 crore to Sharmila. YCP asked why Sharmila is now demanding more, especially when she did not sign financial agreements to support the family’s companies during their heavy debt of Rs 1500 crore.
The Ongoing YS Family Rift and Its Impact
This exchange between Jagan’s family and the YCP reveals deeper tensions. YCP’s stance suggests that Vijayamma’s support of Sharmila poses a threat to Jagan’s political stability. Many political observers in Andhra Pradesh believe this public family conflict could shift the YS family’s influence, which has been strong for decades.
As both sides continue to exchange accusations, it seems the dispute will not end soon. The YS family, once united in its influence over Andhra Pradesh politics, now appears deeply divided, which may affect Jagan’s political standing and the future of YCP.
