TTD Darshan in Just 1 Hour: Chairman BR Naidu’s Bold Plan

TTD Darshan in Just 1 Hour: A Divine Breakthrough

Visiting Lord Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala is a spiritual experience cherished by millions of Hindu devotees worldwide. However, the long waiting hours, often exceeding 24 hours, can be challenging for pilgrims. In an innovative move, TTD Chairman BR Naidu has proposed a revolutionary plan to reduce TTD darshan time to just one hour. If successful, this initiative will transform the pilgrimage experience, ensuring devotees enjoy a hassle-free visit to the sacred shrine.

The Plan: Leveraging AI and Facial Recognition

During a recent media interaction, Chairman BR Naidu revealed plans to utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) and facial recognition technology to streamline the darshan process. Pilgrims will link their Aadhaar card numbers to receive tokens at one of 45 newly established counters across Tirumala.

To prevent overcrowding, each token will have a dedicated time slot. Devotees will enter the Vaikuntam Queue Complex at their allotted time and proceed seamlessly for darshan.

The AI system will undergo a one-week trial period to evaluate its effectiveness. If successful, this initiative will be discussed in the next TTD board meeting for approval.

TTD Darshan Ensuring Devotee Welfare

Chairman BR Naidu emphasized several additional measures to enhance the experience at Tirumala:

  1. Employee Accountability:
    • All TTD employees will soon wear name badges for easy identification.
    • Strict action will taken against employees who misbehave or fail to serve devotees properly.
  2. Zero Tolerance for Black Tickets:
    • The TTD board will strictly monitor and eliminate black ticket sales and other illegal activities in Tirumala.
  3. Relocation of Non-Hindu Employees:
    • Non-Hindu employees currently working at Tirumala will be reassigned to other locations or deputed to state government roles.

A New Era for Tirumala Pilgrimage

Chairman BR Naidu’s vision promises a transformative experience for devotees visiting Tirumala. By combining cutting-edge technology with efficient management, this plan seeks to honor the sanctity of the shrine while ensuring a seamless pilgrimage for millions.

The trial phase of AI implementation set to begin soon, and its success could mark the dawn of a new era in spiritual tourism at Tirumala.
