Trolls on Pawan Kalyan’s Kumbh Mela Pics: Police Take Action!

Pawan Kalyan’s Visit to Kumbh Mela Sparks Online Controversy

Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, recently visited Prayagraj to participate in the Maha Kumbh Mela. As part of the religious ritual, he took a holy dip in the sacred Ganga River.

However, this spiritual moment quickly turned into a target for online trolls, with several users on social media mocking his physique and spreading morphed images.

Trolls Resort to Body Shaming

Pawan Kalyan, following tradition, removed his shirt before taking a dip in the river. However, certain political groups took this as an opportunity to spread negativity on Twitter and other platforms.

  • Derogatory comments made about his fitness and physique.
  • Morphed images of Kalyan shared to humiliate him.
  • The posts deliberately circulated with the intention of body-shaming him.

This sparked outrage among Janasena supporters, who immediately called for strict action against the trolls.

Police Crackdown on Online Abuse

With the situation escalating, Janasena supporters from Chittoor, Nellore, Bapatla, and Vijayawada formally approached the Andhra Pradesh Police, demanding legal action.

They provided:
Screenshots of offensive posts
Morphed images used for defamation
Details of accounts involved in spreading the negativity

Given that the Deputy Chief Minister himself is the victim, the Andhra Pradesh Police have initiated legal proceedings against those responsible for the social media attack.

Strict Warnings Against Social Media Misuse

Both Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan have previously warned about social media abuse. Several YSRCP supporters were jailed and fined for similar offenses in the past.

Despite these warnings, the trolling resurfaced during Kalyan’s Kumbh Mela visit. Now, with the police stepping in once again, it remains to be seen what disciplinary action will be taken against those spreading misinformation and offensive content.
