The Telangana Assembly sessions are in full swing, and Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has presented the state budget for 2025-26.
This year’s budget stands at ₹3,04,965 crore, aiming to balance welfare initiatives, infrastructure development, and economic growth. The breakdown is as follows:

While presenting the budget, Bhatti Vikramarka stated:

Our primary goal is to revive the economy, which was severely affected under the previous administration. Despite criticisms from certain quarters, we remain dedicated to our mission of social welfare and development.”

1. Rural Development & Agriculture 🌾
✔ Panchayat Raj Department receives ₹31,605 crore for strengthening rural governance, roads, and water supply.

SC Welfare – ₹40,232 crore for housing, education, and employment support.
ST Welfare – ₹17,169 crore for tribal development projects and financial aid programs.

Handloom Sector – ₹371 crore for weavers’ welfare and subsidies.
Minority Welfare – ₹3,591 crore to support education, employment, and entrepreneurship in minority communities.
Industries & Infrastructure Development

✔ Industries Department – ₹3,527 crore allocated to boost manufacturing, MSMEs, and industrial hubs.
✔ IT Sector – ₹774 crore dedicated to digital infrastructure, IT parks, and skill development in emerging technologies.
