Sharmila Trolls Jagan for Prioritizing Vamsi’s Jail Visit
Jagan’s Jail Visit Sparks Controversy Sharmila Trolls Jagan
Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has sparked criticism after visiting Vallabhaneni Vamsi in jail. Vamsi, accused of kidnapping an SC person and engaging in antisocial activities, received a high-profile visit from Jagan, raising concerns over the message this sends to the public. Sharmila Trolls Jagan Mohan Reddy for visiting Vallabhaneni Vamsi in jail while skipping the Assembly.
Many see this as a misplaced priority, arguing that Jagan should focus on public service and governance rather than meeting individuals facing serious allegations.
Sharmila Trolls Jagan
Why Visit a Criminal but Not the Assembly?
YS Sharmila, the President of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) and Jagan’s own sister, launched a scathing attack on him. She pointed out that Jagan finds time to meet criminals in jail but avoids attending the Assembly, where he should be addressing public concerns.
She remarked:
“Jagan Mohan Reddy has time to visit criminals in jail, but he doesn’t have the face to attend the Assembly for the people.”
Sharmila further criticized him for holding press conferences to share his narrative but lacking the courage to challenge the ruling party in the Assembly.
YSRCP’s Absence in Assembly Under Fire
Sharmila didn’t stop with Jagan—she also took aim at the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MLAs. She accused them of neglecting their duty by avoiding Assembly sessions despite being elected by the people.
She went on to say:
“If YSRCP MLAs lack the courage to attend the Assembly, they should resign immediately.”
Her remarks reflect growing frustration among the public over the party’s absence in critical discussions affecting Andhra Pradesh.
Jagan’s Strategy Under Scrutiny
Sharmila’s statements have hit Jagan on multiple levels—
- Exposing his focus on jailed associates instead of public welfare.
- Highlighting his failure to participate in Assembly proceedings.
- Questioning YSRCP’s moral standing in public discourse.
With Andhra Pradesh’s political climate heating up, Jagan’s priorities are now under intense public and political scrutiny.
Will Jagan Respond?
As criticism mounts, it remains to be seen whether Jagan will justify his actions or change his approach. Will YSRCP leaders return to the Assembly, or will they continue to stay away from governance discussions?
