Sai Reddy Ignores Jagan, Backs KTR on Delimitation Issue

Jagan and Sai Reddy: From Allies to Rivals

For years, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vijay Sai Reddy shared a close bond. They were considered trusted allies who stood by each other in political and personal battles. Vijay Sai Reddy avoids mentioning Jagan while praising KTR on the delimitation issue. Is the rift between them beyond repair?

However, their relationship has deteriorated significantly. Jagan now accuses Sai Reddy of losing credibility after parting ways with YSR Congress Party (YCP). Meanwhile, Sai Reddy blames Jagan’s inner circle for pushing him away. He insists that Jagan still fails to understand the reality of the situation.

Sai Reddy’s Strategic Move: Praising KTR, Ignoring Jagan on Delimitation Issue

As tensions between the two continue to rise, Sai Reddy made another calculated move yesterday. While discussing the burning delimitation issue, he strategically ignored Jagan and instead praised Telangana Minister KTR.

In a social media post, Sai Reddy expressed concerns about the impact of delimitation on South Indian states. He wrote:

“Agree with the concerns of all South Indian states that a delimitation based solely on population will hurt us. While the concerns are genuine, the statement by HM Amit Shah ji that no South Indian state will lose seats and that fair increase will take place is also reassuring.”

He further added:

“AP has 4.6% of Lok Sabha seats, while UP has 14.7%. Any increase should maintain that same percentage in the new LS. I also agree with @KTRBRS garu’s suggestion that corresponding MLA seats should also increase within the states to take governance closer to our people.”

Sai Reddy Aligns with KTR’s Argument on Delimitation Issue

It is evident that Sai Reddy supports KTR’s stance on considering South Indian states’ GDP contributions rather than just population size for delimitation. His public approval of KTR’s statement signals a major political shift.

Meanwhile, Jagan had also written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting a reconsideration of the delimitation process. However, Sai Reddy chose to ignore Jagan’s appeal completely, instead highlighting KTR’s perspective.

The Growing Rift: Beyond Reconciliation?

Sai Reddy’s reluctance to acknowledge Jagan’s stance on delimitation speaks volumes. It appears that he no longer wishes to associate with Jagan, even on common political concerns.

This move raises speculation—has Sai Reddy completely distanced himself from Jagan and YCP? Is he seeking new political alignments?

One thing is clear: the fallout between Jagan and Sai Reddy is now too deep to ignore.
