Revanth Reddy’s Strong Speech in Budget Session
The Telangana Legislative Assembly is currently holding its budget sessions, and in response to the discussion on the Governor’s address and the motion of thanks, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy delivered a lengthy and impactful speech on Saturday.
He directly addressed criticism from BRS leaders, defending his government’s actions and policies while challenging the opposition to a debate on any topic. CM Revanth accused the BRS government of pushing Telangana into heavy debt over the past ten years and demanded that KCR come forward for an open discussion on the state’s progress.
Revanth Challenges Opposition for a Debate in Speech
Revanth Reddy openly challenged KCR and BRS leaders to discuss what each party has contributed to the state’s growth.
He blamed the previous government for excessive debt and mismanagement.
He emphasized that his government is committed to financial recovery and transparency.
This bold stance further intensified the political debate in Telangana.
Revanth Defends His Delhi Visits
One of the main criticisms from BRS leaders was about Revanth Reddy’s frequent visits to Delhi. Addressing this, he disclosed that he had visited Delhi 32 times in the last 15 months and jokingly added that he would go 300 times if needed.

“I don’t go to Delhi for leisure. My visits are aimed at securing funds and development projects for Telangana.”
He stated that as Chief Minister, it is his responsibility to meet with central government officials and bring in beneficial schemes for the state.
Revanth’s Meeting with Prime Minister Modi & Other Ministers
Revanth Reddy also highlighted that he had met:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi – Three times to discuss Telangana’s development.
Every Union Cabinet Minister – To push for funds and resources for the state.
Telangana’s Central Ministers – Kishan Reddy & Bandi Sanjay – Discussing state-related policies.
While politically he opposes the BJP, he made it clear that development should not be hindered by political differences.
Revanth’s Stand: Development Over Politics
Revanth Reddy asserted that as Telangana’s Chief Minister, he will continue to work with the central government to bring necessary funding and projects to the state. He dismissed the criticism from BRS, emphasizing that working with the central leadership is in Telangana’s best interest.
