Revanth Reddy Reacts to Kavitha Bail: Questions BRS-BJP Nexus
Kavitha’s Bail Sparks Political Reactions
Telangana MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister KCR, was granted bail yesterday in the high-profile Delhi liquor scam case. After spending five and a half months in Tihar Jail, Kavitha returned to Hyderabad today, sparking a flurry of reactions in political circles. Among the prominent voices was Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, who shared his views on the matter.
Revanth Reddy Questions the Bail
Revanth Reddy expressed skepticism over the quick granting of bail to Kavitha, suggesting that it was part of a larger political maneuvering between BRS and BJP. He questioned the timing and the circumstances under which Kavitha was released, pointing out the contrast with other political figures involved in similar cases.
“There’s no surprise in Kavitha coming out of jail,” Revanth Reddy stated. “It took more than a year for Sisodia and Kejriwal, yet they didn’t secure bail. But Kavitha, a BRS leader, managed to get bail in just five and a half months. This clearly indicates a deal between BRS and BJP. If they weren’t working together, this wouldn’t have happened. BRS even transferred votes to BJP during the Telangana elections.”
BJP and Congress Exchange Accusations
Revanth Reddy’s comments come amid ongoing political tussles between Congress and BJP. The BJP, in turn, accused Congress of being in sync with BRS, claiming that the ruling and opposition parties in Telangana are working together behind the scenes. This blame game has added another layer of complexity to the already heated political landscape in the state.
BRS Cadre’s Reaction
Despite the controversy, the BRS party cadre remains elated with Kavitha’s return. They believe that this development will reinvigorate KCR, the party leader, and inspire him to take on the opposition with renewed vigor. Family and BRS party members are very happy with kavitha’s return
