Revanth Reddy Appreciates Chandrababu Naidu
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy Appreciates Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He thanked him for introducing a new policy that reserves Tirumala darshan slots for Telangana’s elected representatives.
Simpler Process for VIP Darshan
The Andhra Pradesh government issued an order allowing easier access to Tirumala darshan. According to the policy, MLAs, MLCs, and MPs from Telangana can now submit two recommendation letters each week. This is applicable from Monday to Thursday. Each letter permits six devotees to enjoy either VIP Break Darshan or Special Entry Darshan.
Previously, Telangana representatives alleged discrimination by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). This policy resolves those concerns and ensures fair access to darshan slots.
Revanth Reddy’s Concerns Addressed
Revanth Reddy had earlier written to Chandrababu Naidu. He urged him to ensure fair treatment for Telangana devotees. He reminded Naidu that people from Telangana share a deep spiritual connection with Lord Venkateswara. Moreover, he emphasized that equitable darshan access would foster harmony between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
