Following in his footsteps, Krishna Teja, who serves as Pawan’s personal secretary in the Deputy CM’s office, has also displayed remarkable dedication to public service.
From Kerala to Andhra: Krishna Teja Administrative Excellence
Krishna Teja, an IAS officer from the Kerala cadre, was brought to Andhra Pradesh on deputation by Pawan Kalyan due to his strong administrative skills. While his governance abilities are widely acknowledged, his commitment to social service sets him apart.
His humanitarian efforts recently gained widespread recognition, showcasing his dedication beyond official duties.
Supporting COVID-19 Orphans: A Life-Changing Initiative
In 2022, during his tenure as the District Collector of Alappuzha, Kerala, Krishna Teja faced the devastating impact of COVID-19. The pandemic led to immense loss, leaving several families shattered.
Among the worst affected were 292 children who lost their parents and were left orphaned. Witnessing their suffering, Krishna Teja took it upon himself to secure their future.
He ensured they had access to education and safe homes, proving that his service was not limited to administrative duties.
How Krishna Teja Transformed Lives
1. Ensuring Education for Orphaned Children
Krishna coordinated with schools and voluntary organizations to guarantee proper education for these children.
2. Building Homes for the Needy
With government resources already stretched thin, he personally took the initiative to raise funds for constructing 292 homes.
3. Fundraising for a Greater Cause
He reached out to friends, colleagues, and donors to collect the remaining funds required to build homes for these children.
4. Completing the Mission Despite Moving to Andhra Pradesh
Although Krishna later moved to Andhra Pradesh, he remained committed to his mission. Over time, he successfully handed over 286 homes, and the remaining six completed and given to the children on Saturday.
