Vizag Retired Banker Tragically Killed
Chandramouli, a retired bank employee from Visakhapatnam, was among the victims. Reports suggest he tried to escape the scene but was chased and killed despite pleading for mercy. His tragic end has left his family and the entire community in grief. Fellow travelers discovered his body and immediately alerted local authorities. His family has since departed for Kashmir to bring him home.
Hyderabad IB Officer Shot in Front of Family in Pahalgam
In another heartbreaking loss, Manish Ranjan, an Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer from Hyderabad, was also killed. He was originally from Bihar but was working in the ministerial section of the IB’s Hyderabad office. According to sources, terrorists shot him dead in front of his wife and children, making this incident even more traumatic. The family had been vacationing in Kashmir when tragedy struck.
PM Modi Cuts Trip Short, Heads to Srinagar
Reacting to the attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi immediately cut short his official visit to Saudi Arabia and returned to New Delhi. He is expected to leave for Srinagar shortly to personally assess the situation and review the security measures.
