KTR’s Attempt to Troll Rahul Gandhi Backfires Congress Hits Back

KTR’s Rahul Gandhi Jibe Backfires as Congress Hits Back

The highly anticipated Delhi Assembly elections concluded with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) securing a landslide victory, bringing an end to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s reign in the national capital. This win marked BJP’s return to power in Delhi after 27 years, a major political milestone. Telangana Congress leaders turn the tables, exposing BRS Backfires

However, one of the biggest shocks of the election was the Congress party’s total wipeout, as it failed to win a single seat in the 70-member Delhi Assembly. The defeat added to Congress’ growing struggles in national and state-level elections.

Amidst this political upheaval, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) took to social media to mock Rahul Gandhi, attributing BJP’s victory to his leadership failures.

🗣️ KTR tweeted: “Congrats to Rahul Gandhi for winning the election for BJP, yet again! Well done.”

His remark was aimed at suggesting that Rahul Gandhi’s lack of leadership had indirectly paved the way for BJP’s dominance in Delhi. However, KTR’s attempt to troll the Congress leader quickly backfired, as Telangana Congress leaders turned the tables on him.

Congress’ Sharp Response to KTR

🔥 Telangana Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy was among the first to retaliate, pointing out BRS’ humiliating performance in the recent Lok Sabha elections.

🗣️ Komatireddy tweeted: “Dear KTR, We, the Congress Party, are fighters—we never give up, and we always bounce back, just like we did in Telangana.”

The Congress leader didn’t stop there. He further reminded KTR of BRS’ disastrous performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, where the party failed to win a single seat and instead helped BJP gain 8 MP seats in Telangana.

🗣️ Komatireddy’s statement: “If there’s anyone who deserves credit for the BJP’s rise in Telangana, it’s you. Well done!”

This response exposed the irony of KTR’s attack on Congress. While he was trying to ridicule Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, it was his own party (BRS) that suffered a historic defeat in Telangana, losing all its Lok Sabha seats and allowing BJP to gain a stronger foothold in the state.

KTR’s Attempt to Troll Rahul Gandhi Backfires

KTR tried to troll Rahul Gandhi, but Congress leaders swiftly turned the focus on BRS’ disastrous election performance.
BRS was completely wiped out in the Parliament elections, indirectly helping BJP make inroads in Telangana.
Congress’ resurgence in Telangana emphasized, strengthening its counter-attack against KTR.

Instead of Congress being on the receiving end, the situation flipped, with KTR facing backlash from Telangana Congress leaders for his party’s own electoral failures.

The Bigger Picture: Congress vs BRS in Telangana

This political exchange between KTR and Congress leaders is significant, especially in the context of Telangana’s shifting political landscape.

BRS was once the dominant force in Telangana, but its downfall in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections has raised serious concerns about its future.
Congress’ recent resurgence in Telangana signals a major political realignment, posing a direct challenge to BRS’ influence in the state.
BJP’s growing presence in Telangana—largely due to BRS’ poor performance—adds another complexity to the state’s political equation.

With Telangana set for more political battles in the coming years, exchanges like these highlight the intense rivalry between Congress and BRS, as both parties compete for dominance in the state.

KTR’s mockery of Congress backfiring on him is just one instance of how Telangana’s political dynamics are evolving, with Congress gaining momentum and BRS facing an existential crisis.
