Komatireddy Demands 20 Crore Compensation from Pushpa Team
Komatireddy Calls for 20 Crore Compensation from Pushpa Team
The tragic Sandhya Theatre stampede continues to dominate headlines, with debates escalating in Telangana’s political circles. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his cabinet ministers, including Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, have taken an active role in addressing the incident. Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy demands ₹20 crore compensation
Komatireddy strongly criticized Allu Arjun, accusing the actor of negligence and irresponsibility. He claimed that the star’s actions directly contributed to the unfortunate death of Revathi and the severe injuries sustained by her son, Sree Tej.
Komatireddy Remarks on the Incident
“Allu Arjun was explicitly advised against visiting the theater, but he ignored these warnings. His grand entry in an open-top car drew massive crowds, culminating in this tragic incident. Even after being informed about the situation, he insisted on watching the film. This demonstrates ignorance and negligence,” Komatireddy stated.
A Demand for Justice
The minister made a bold demand, urging Allu Arjun and the Pushpa film team to compensate the affected family with ₹20 crore. “They proudly announce that their film has collected ₹2000 crore or ₹3000 crore. In that case, why can’t they contribute ₹20 crore to the family of the deceased? This is my demand,” Komatireddy asserted.
Previous Contributions
Allu Arjun has already pledged ₹25 lakh to the victim’s family and offered to cover medical expenses for Sree Tej. The Telangana government has also stepped in, initiating medical compensation for the family. Komatireddy himself contributed ₹25 lakh, but he believes the compensation should be significantly higher, given the magnitude of the tragedy.
Tragedy Conclusion
The demand for ₹20 crore has sparked further discussion about accountability and the responsibilities of public figures during high-profile events. As the situation unfolds, the focus remains on providing justice and support to the grieving family.
