Former cabinet minister Perni Nani has found himself at the center of a legal inquiry regarding the missing PDS rice bags. The case now surrounds Nani, his son Kittu, and his wife Jayasudha. JC Prabhakar Reddy responds to Perni Nani’s claims about his family’s involvement in the PDS rice scam.

To highlight the discrepancies, JC Prabhakar Reddy displayed a flex revealing the numerous FIRs that had been filed against his family members, including his wife, Uma Reddy, during the YCP government’s reign. One particular flex featured a biting comment from JC: “Perni Nani neekena bharya pillalu.. maaku lera..”. This statement was a sharp retort to Nani’s earlier claims involving his wife in the PDS rice scam.
JC Family’s Struggles Under YCP Government
The YCP-led government had taken aggressive actions against the JC family, including the seizure of 154 buses belonging to JC Travels. The government claimed the buses had illegal registrations and were operating unlawfully, leading to extreme pressure on the family business.
As a result, the JC family had to shut down their travel business. Notably, many of the legal cases filed against them during this period are still ongoing.
