Jagan’s First Press Meet on Vallabhaneni Vamsi

Jagan’s First Media Address on Vamsi’s Arrest

YSR Congress Party President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, had a packed schedule today. He visited the Vijayawada District Jail to Jagan’s First Press Meet his party’s ex-MLA, Vallabhaneni Vamsi, who was recently arrested in connection with a kidnapping case.

Shortly after his Mulaqat (meeting) with Vamsi, Jagan held a press conference where he made a series of strong allegations and statements, raising concerns about the law and order situation in the state.

Jagan’s Claims: A Political Vendetta?

During the press meet, Jagan strongly criticized the arrest of Vallabhaneni Vamsi, stating that it was a result of political vendetta rather than actual criminal involvement. He alleged that the case was fabricated by the Chandrababu Naidu-led government to target his party members.

“Vamsi is not connected to this case in any way. Even the statement given by the victim, Sathya Vardhan, does not mention Vamsi’s name. Chandrababu was determined to arrest Vamsi, so he falsely implicated him in this case.”

Jagan also questioned the legitimacy of the case, emphasizing that the victim had already withdrawn the complaint against Vamsi. Despite this, the government proceeded with the arrest, which Jagan called an orchestrated political move.

Allegations Against TDP and Chandrababu Naidu

Further intensifying his attack, Jagan accused Chandrababu Naidu of provoking unrest in Gannavaram, which led to the attack on the TDP office. He claimed that Naidu used Pattabi, a TDP leader, to instigate tensions, which ultimately resulted in the violent incident.

Jagan maintained that Vamsi had no involvement in the attack, calling the entire case a politically motivated witch hunt.

Jagan’s Controversial Warning to the AP Police

One of the most shocking moments of the press conference was Jagan’s aggressive statement directed at the Andhra Pradesh police. Expressing frustration over the handling of the case, he made a bold and controversial remark:

“Anyaayam chesina vallani battalu oodadeesi nilabedatham. Retire ayyina, out of country vellina, ikkadiki techi nilabedatham.”
(We will strip those who committed injustice and make them stand. Even if they retire or leave the country, we will bring them back and hold them accountable.)

These strong words against the police department have sparked widespread debate. Political analysts believe such aggressive language from a former Chief Minister could further damage his public image and raise legal concerns.

Public Reaction and Political Implications

Jagan’s statements have already started a heated political discourse in Andhra Pradesh. While his supporters believe he is fighting against injustice, his critics argue that his harsh tone and threats against the police show a lack of political maturity.

With the state’s political climate already tense, this latest press conference adds another layer of controversy. It remains to be seen how the AP government and law enforcement agencies respond to Jagan’s allegations and warnings.

For now, the arrest of Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Jagan’s reaction have become a major political flashpoint in Andhra Pradesh.
