Jagan Reddy Returns, But “Fees Poru” Protest Postponed

Jagan Reddy Back in AP, But Protest Event Delayed

After spending a few weeks in London and a luxurious stay at Bengaluru Palace, Pulivendula MLA Jagan Mohan Reddy has returned to Andhra Pradesh. However, his arrival seems to be another brief visit rather than a political comeback.

Grand Welcome at Gannavaram, But No Major Plans

Jagan landed at Gannavaram Airport earlier today, where he was greeted by a huge crowd of YSRCP supporters and party leaders. Following the warm reception, he headed straight to his residence in Tadepalli, where he held brief discussions with his key party members.

“Fees Poru” Protest Postponed Due to Election Code

Jagan’s return initially expected to coincide with the “Fees Poru” protest, a movement planned to highlight issues in the fee reimbursement process. However, the event has now postponed to February 12 due to the election code ahead of the upcoming MLC elections.

This delay has disappointed YCP supporters, who had hoped to see Jagan actively fighting for public issues. But with the postponement, they will have to wait longer for any strong political movement from their leader.

Jagan Reddy Lack of Political Activity Raises Questions

It has been eight months since the elections, and Jagan has rarely stepped out to engage with the people of Andhra Pradesh. His continued absence from Assembly sessions and lack of statewide protest events have created a political void, giving the ruling NDA government a stronger hold.

Before the 2019 elections, Jagan known for his aggressive political stance, fiercely opposing the TDP government. However, political analysts now believe that his fire has faded, and he has become more complacent in his approach.

With the 2024 elections approaching, Jagan’s political strategy remains unclear. Will he regain his momentum, or will his passive approach cost him in the long run? Andhra Pradesh’s political scene set for an interesting turn.
