In a move to support IT professionals in Visakhapatnam. APSRTC has launched free bus services for those commuting to Rushikonda IT Hills. This initiative makes traveling easier and more convenient for employees working in the city’s growing tech sector. Vizag IT employees now enjoy free bus services to Rushikonda IT Hills. This government initiative aims to support the growing IT sector.
Leaders Inaugurate the Services
Former minister and Bheemili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao. Along with Visakhapatnam MP Sri Bharat, inaugurated the new bus routes at a ceremony held at the Infosys campus. During the event, both leaders shared their hopes that more IT companies would establish offices in Visakhapatnam.
Routes and Schedules of the Buses in Vizag
These buses will start at 8 a.m. from Gajuwaka, Kurmannapalem, Pendurthi, and Vizianagaram, reaching the IT Hills to pick up employees. In the evening, starting at 5:50 p.m., the same buses will take employees back home. There are also two additional buses that will begin from Dwaraka bus station and Gajuwaka.
State Government Covers Costs
The expenses of these new bus services are covered by the state government, ensuring free rides for IT employees. This move showcases the government’s commitment to the growing tech sector in Vizag.
Encouraging Growth of Vizag IT Sector
Both Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Sri Bharat inspected the Infosys office and expressed optimism about the future of IT in Vizag. They believe that the free bus services will encourage more companies to set up shop in the city, boosting its status as a major tech hub.
