Chandrababu Naidu Focuses on Major Welfare Schemes

The NDA-led Andhra Pradesh government has been actively working on infrastructure development and financial investments since coming to power. Now, the focus has shifted towards fulfilling electoral promises, ensuring direct benefits for citizens. During a recent Assembly session, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu made a bold announcement, confirming that several Major welfare Schemes will be launched this May.


Major Welfare Schemes Set to Roll Out in May

Thalliki Vandhanam – Financial Aid for Mothers

One of the most awaited schemes, Thalliki Vandhanam, will be implemented in May. Under this program:
Each mother will receive ₹15,000 per school-going child
Aimed at supporting education and women empowerment

This initiative is expected to ease financial burdens on families and encourage higher school enrollment.

Raithu Bharosa – Support for Farmers

CM Chandrababu Naidu also confirmed the launch of the Raithu Bharosa program, which will provide:
🌾 ₹20,000 per eligible farmer per year
🌾 ₹6,000 from the central government matched with ₹14,000 from the state government

This scheme aims to enhance financial stability for farmers, ensuring better agricultural productivity and rural development.

Fishermen Welfare Program in the Pipeline

Apart from these two major initiatives, a financial support scheme for fishermen also expected to launched soon. The details of this program will revealed in the coming days.


A Crucial Month for Andhra Pradesh

Chandrababu Naidu emphasized that May will a turning point for Andhra Pradesh, as multiple Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) schemes will implemented simultaneously.
