Chandrababu Slams Jagan for Violating Election Code

YS Jagan Violating Election Code with Guntur Visit

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has sparked controversy by violating the election code. He recently visited the Guntur Mirchi Yard, an act that goes against the Election Commission’s regulations.

As a result of this unauthorized visit, the absence of police protection became a major issue, leading to a police case filed against Jagan under multiple sections. Despite this, the YSRCP escalated the matter to the Governor and the Centre, requesting central security arrangements for Jagan.

Chandrababu Naidu Exposes Jagan’s Actions in Delhi

Current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is presently in Delhi for an official visit, addressed this issue during his interactions with the media. He attended the swearing-in ceremony of Delhi CM Rekha Gupta and later participated in a key NDA political meeting.

Naidu did not hold back as he exposed Jagan’s actions, highlighting how the Election Commission operates as an independent body and enforces rules beyond political considerations.

Chandrababu’s Strong Criticism of Jagan

Chandrababu firmly criticized Jagan’s disregard for election regulations, stating:

“He (Jagan) knew he was violating the election code, yet he went ahead with the visit. How can he expect police protection when he himself is breaking the law? If the police protect him today, what’s stopping him from committing another violation tomorrow and demanding more protection? I have never seen a politician like him in my entire career.

Naidu pointed out that Jagan’s actions were intentional and that expecting security while breaking the law is unacceptable.

YSR Congress Seeks Central Security Amid Controversy

In a move to shift the narrative, YSRCP has written to the Centre, claiming a lack of security for Jagan and requesting central security forces. However, Chandrababu exposed their political ploy, dismissing it as an attempt to manipulate the situation for personal gain.

By addressing the issue publicly in Delhi, Chandrababu countered YSRCP’s claims with a valid argument, highlighting the blatant disregard for election norms.

Conclusion: Violating Election Code

The political tension in Andhra Pradesh continues to rise as the state gears up for elections. Jagan’s violation of the election code and his subsequent demand for protection have triggered a major controversy. With Chandrababu Naidu calling out Jagan’s actions, the political battle between TDP and YSRCP is only intensifying.
