Naidu Declares ‘Swachh Andhra Pradesh’ Day on Third Saturdays

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has announced a new statewide initiative to promote cleanliness and sanitation. The Third Saturday of every month will now be observed as ‘Swachh Andhra Pradesh’ Day, dedicated to community-driven cleanliness drives. Throughout andhara pradesh it goes on third saturday.

Speaking at the collectors’ conference in Amaravati, Naidu explained that the program aims to enhance sanitation across Andhra Pradesh. He emphasized that the initiative will involve active participation from government officials, including collectors. Activities like waste removal, clearing clogged drains, and community clean-up programs will be central to this effort.


A Call for Responsibility

Naidu urged government employees and officials to take ownership of the initiative. He stated that a detailed action plan for the program will soon shared to ensure effective implementation.
