The police have summoned RGV for questioning in connection with the case. Charges were filed under Section 336 (4) and 353 (2) of the BNS Act, along with Section 67 of the IT Act, at Maddipadu police station.

Sri Reddy Under Investigation for Social Media Posts

Actress and YSRCP supporter Sri Reddy is also facing legal action. The Rajahmundry police registered a case against her under the Information Technology Act, 2000, for posting defamatory content against Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan. The controversial content was reportedly uploaded to various social media platforms before the 2024 general elections.

Government’s Stance on Defamatory Remarks

The coalition government has made it clear that defamatory content will not be tolerated. By pursuing legal action against individuals like Posani, RGV, and Sri Reddy. The administration aims to maintain the integrity of political discourse and discourage personal attacks on leaders.

These cases highlight the growing tensions between political parties and their supporters as Andhra Pradesh approaches the general elections. The situation underscores the need for responsible dialogue, both offline and online, to uphold democratic values.
