BPCL Confirms ₹95,000 Crore Investment in Andhra Pradesh

AP is on the path to industrial transformation, with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) announcing a massive ₹95,000 crore investment. The company plans to establish a greenfield refinery and petrochemical complex in Ramayapatnam, signaling a major boost to the state’s industrial sector.


BPCL’s Vision for Ramayapatnam

The proposed refinery will produce essential fuels, including gasoline, diesel, petrol, jet fuel, and liquid petroleum gas (LPG). This venture marks BPCL’s fourth refinery, adding to its existing facilities in Mumbai, Kochi, and Bina (Madhya Pradesh).

The BPCL Governing Board has already approved preliminary works worth ₹6,100 crore. This decision has been communicated to the National Stock Exchange, indicating the seriousness of this ambitious project.
