Arnab Goswami Criticizes Revanth Reddy Over Allu Arjun’s Arrest

Arnab Goswami Slams Revanth Reddy Over Allu Arjun’s Arrest

The arrest of Allu Arjun has sparked intense debate across political and media circles. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has faced criticism, both directly and indirectly, over his handling of the situation. Among the prominent voices calling him out is senior journalist Arnab Goswami, who didn’t hold back during a fiery TV debate.

Arnab Goswami Strong Remarks

During the debate, Arnab Goswami criticized Revanth Reddy, calling him a “flop actor” for allegedly attempting to gain political mileage by arresting Allu Arjun. Arnab remarked, “Revanth envisioned becoming a superstar by sending Allu Arjun to jail, but he has only turned into a flop actor.”

Drawing parallels to his own experience, Arnab referenced his 2020 arrest in an abetment-to-suicide case. He stated, “Back then, Uddhav Thackeray tried to gain political leverage by putting me behind bars for a day and attempting to delay bail. Similarly, Revanth is trying to arrest Allu Arjun on a Friday, hoping to keep him jailed over the weekend.”

A Critique of Narrow-Minded Thinking

Arnab went on to call such actions an example of “narrow-minded thinking.” He stated that this strategy reflects poorly on Revanth Reddy’s leadership. Arnab argued that Revanth’s approach backfired, as Allu Arjun continues to be celebrated as a “super superstar,” while the CM’s actions have drawn widespread condemnation.

Political Implications

This incident has become a focal point in Telangana politics, with public sentiment largely siding with Allu Arjun. Arnab’s remarks have further intensified the discussion, shedding light on the political motivations behind the arrest.

The ongoing debates suggest that Revanth Reddy’s decision to target Allu Arjun may have significant political consequences, particularly as public opinion sways against such actions.
