AP Minister Applauds Hyderabad’s Growth Under BRS Leadership

Former AP Minister Highlights Hyderabad’s Remarkable Progress Under BRS

In a statement that challenges the Congress narrative on Telangana’s progress, former AP Minister Avanthi Srinivas commended Hyderabad’s rapid development during the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) regime.

Srinivas, who previously served as AP’s Tourism Minister, highlighted that stability in governance is the key to attracting investments and fostering growth in any state.

AP Minister: Hyderabad’s Transformation Under BRS Rule

Srinivas emphasized the impressive transformation of Hyderabad over the past decade, attributing its growth to the stable leadership of the BRS government.

“In the neighboring Telangana, under 10 years of BRS rule, Hyderabad has developed rapidly,” he said in a video circulating widely across social media platforms.

The former Minister also dismissed claims that a unified Andhra Pradesh would have accelerated Telangana’s development. Instead, he pointed out that Telangana’s independent governance has been instrumental in achieving this progress.

Countering the Congress Narrative

Srinivas used his remarks to challenge the Congress’s stance on Telangana’s development trajectory. He stated that the fears of Telangana’s backwardness without Andhra Pradesh were unfounded, as evidenced by Hyderabad’s success story.

“In sharp contrast to these aspersions, Hyderabad has developed superbly. This is mainly due to the stable government in the last 10 years,” Srinivas asserted.

Srinivas’s Resignation from YSRCP

The comments from Avanthi Srinivas came shortly after his resignation from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), citing personal reasons. Speaking to the media, he expressed his admiration for Telangana’s progress under the BRS while addressing the political and developmental differences between the two states.

Key Takeaways

The former Minister’s remarks not only highlight the achievements of Hyderabad under the BRS leadership but also underscore the importance of stable governance in driving economic growth and development.

This statement further amplifies the ongoing political debates surrounding Telangana’s progress and Hyderabad’s standing as a leading city in India.
