Amaravati 2.0: Chandrababu Naidu Takes Charge of Capital
Chandrababu Naidu’s Leadership Revives Amaravati 2.0
Amaravati, once envisioned as Andhra Pradesh’s world-class capital, faced several obstacles under the previous government. However, the NDA administration, along with CM Chandrababu Naidu, has now taken charge to bring the capital city back on track. The revival of the Amaravati project, known as Amaravati 2.0, has officially begun.
CRDA’s Major Projects Resume
The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has resumed work on key projects in the region. A highlight is the construction of a 7-floor building, with an investment of Rs 160 crore. The formal ceremony for the commencement of this project, presided over by Chandrababu Naidu himself, symbolizes the return of growth and development in Amaravati.
This building marks the first of many projects paused between 2014 and 2019 that will now continue under Naidu’s leadership. This move is symbolic of the government’s renewed focus on Amaravati’s development. The CRDA aims to restore Amaravati to its original plan as a world-class capital city by reviving projects halted during 2019.
Restoration of Amaravati 2.0 Infrastructure
In addition to the 7-floor building, CRDA has also approved the construction of facilities for 130 companies and institutions. These projects, initiated during Naidu’s first tenure, will resume, allowing Amaravati to restore its economic and institutional growth.
Clearing the Path for Development
A major hurdle to Amaravati’s progress was the jungle clearance work, which is nearly complete. This development ensures that construction can now proceed smoothly. The CRDA’s commitment to restoring Amaravati signals the start of a new era for the capital city.
Amaravati 2.0 is poised to restore the city’s global standing with sustainable infrastructure, commercial hubs, and institutional facilities. The resumption of these capital projects marks a critical step in Amaravati’s journey back to prominence.
