In light of the unfortunate loss, the government has announced a compensation of ₹2 lakh each for the 33 victims who have been discharged from the hospital. The TTD Governing Council has called for an emergency meeting on Friday in Tirumala to discuss the incident and evaluate the steps required to ensure such an unfortunate tragedy does not happen again.
