Pradeep Compares AAIA to a Modern Chandamama Katha

Pradeep Returns with a Heartfelt Rural Love Saga

Popular television anchor-turned-actor Pradeep Machiraju is all set to captivate audiences once again with his second film, Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi (AAIA) Modern Chandamama Katha. The romantic drama is gearing up for its theatrical release on April 11, and it promises to be a heartwarming village-based love story with a modern twist.

Speaking about his return, Pradeep explained that he chose to take his time with this project. “We went through many stories before finalizing this one. We started building it from scratch and focused on every detail. That’s why it took longer than expected, but it worth the wait,” he said.

A Village Tale Inspired by Chandamama Katha

Pradeep draws a poetic comparison between the film and a Chandamama Katha, referring to the timeless storytelling from children’s folklore. “The film follows a village girl and a civil engineer who visits her hometown. The village steeped in tradition, with its own unique customs and societal rules. The tension arises as the hero gets entangled in these traditions,” he explained.

This cultural and emotional conflict forms the core of the narrative and expected to strike a chord with rural and urban audiences alike.

Chandamama Katha: Deepika Pilli Shines in Her Debut

The film stars Deepika Pilli as the female lead. Pradeep emphasized that the team was keen on casting a Telugu girl for authenticity. “We conducted auditions, look tests, and workshops before finalizing Deepika. She has exceeded expectations, and I believe the audience will pleasantly surprised by her performance,” he shared.

Production, Direction, and Distribution

Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi directed by Nitin and Bharath, and bankrolled by the Monks and Monkeys production house. The film is being distributed by Mythri Movie Distributors, known for backing strong content-driven projects.

With a mix of tradition, romance, and visual appeal, the film set to connect deeply with audiences when it releases this week.
