Pawan Kalyan CCTV Proposal: Ensuring Safety for Students

Pawan Kalyan Advocates for CCTV Cameras in Schools for Student Safety

Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan has reiterated his commitment to creating a safer environment for students, particularly girls, with his latest proposal to install CCTV cameras in schools. His proactive stance against crime has widely acknowledged, and this initiative marks another step toward ensuring safety and accountability in educational institutions.

CCTV Cameras: A Step Toward Safer Schools

The Deputy CM emphasized that CCTV cameras would not only enhance the safety of girl students but also act as a deterrent against potential crimes. The presence of these cameras could foster discipline among students, even when teachers or wardens are not around.

Recalling the tragic case of Sugali Preethi Bai, a 14-year-old SSC student from Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy High School near Kurnool, Pawan Kalyan highlighted the importance of such measures. Preethi was found dead in her hostel room, with wounds on her legs and hands suggesting foul play. Despite initial attempts by the school management to label it a suicide, a probe into her death was launched after the TDP coalition government took charge.

A Collaborative Effort

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan also mentioned that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu supports the initiative and is considering implementing CCTV cameras across school premises. Such measures could significantly reduce incidents of crime and foster a secure learning environment for students.

Public Applause for the Initiative

The proposal to install CCTV cameras has garnered appreciation from various quarters. If implemented, it would represent a significant step in protecting students and enhancing accountability within schools. Parents and the general public are likely to welcome this initiative, seeing it as a critical move to prevent tragic incidents like the one involving Sugali Preethi.

Moving Toward a Safer Future

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s vision for safer schools aligns with the broader goal of ensuring student welfare. This initiative, if brought to life, will not only provide security but also set a precedent for educational institutions to prioritize safety and discipline.

Let us hope this proposal translates into swift action, creating a safer and more supportive environment for students across the region.
