MAA Responds to Arshad Warsi’s ‘Prabhas a Joker’ Comments

The President of the Movie Artiste Association (MAA), Manchu Vishnu, took swift action in response. He sent a formal letter to the Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINETAA) in Mumbai, addressing the issue. The letter, written to CINETAA President Poonam Dhillon, voiced concern over Arshad’s comments. Vishnu pointed out that while actors are entitled to their opinions, they must be mindful of the words they use. Hurtful comments can spread negativity and cause division in the industry.

MAA Call for Mutual Respect

Vishnu’s letter stressed the need for public figures to exercise caution in their statements. He urged CINETAA to advise Arshad Warsi to refrain from making disrespectful remarks in the future. Vishnu emphasized that all actors, regardless of their regional affiliation, deserve respect and recognition for their hard work.

Support from Tollywood

Several actors from the Telugu film industry, including Nani, Sharwanand, and Payal Rajput, as well as director Ajay Bhupathi, have also spoken out against Arshad’s comments. They voiced their support for Prabhas and condemned the derogatory remarks.
