The plot revolves around a fisherman (played by GV Prakash) who challenges the supernatural forces that prevent villagers from venturing into the sea. His journey takes him into a dark underwater world filled with zombies and spirits, where he must fight for survival.

GV Prakash underwent rigorous underwater training, learning to hold his breath for three minutes at a time to bring authenticity to the action sequences.
