Harish Shankar’s latest project, Mr. Bachchan, is a remake of the Hindi film Raid. The movie, starring Ravi Teja and Bhagyashree Bhorse, is scheduled for release on August 15.

Following the announcement, a social media user urged Harish to stop making remakes. “I request you, Sir. Better be this will be the last remake from you. Harish Shankar confidently responded, challenging the notion that Mr. Bachchan will feel like a remake. “Idhi choosi nuvvu remake ani feel aithe appudu maatlaadukundhaam bro. am the most social media-friendly director.. so u can communicate any time,” he tweeted.
