Macho Star Gopichand is all set to entertain audiences with his latest film, Viswam, a hilarious action-packed thriller directed by Sreenu Vaitla. Produced under the banner of People Media Factory and Chitralayam Studios, the film is set to release on October 11th, just in time for the Dussehra festivities. As the movie gears up for its big release, the makers recently hosted an exciting pre-release event, where the team shared their memorable experiences while working on the project.
Sreenu Vaitla Praises the Viswam Journey
At the event, director Sreenu Vaitla fondly spoke about his time working on the film, describing the journey as one of his most enjoyable experiences. Vaitla further added that Venu and Vishwa joined the project later, but their contribution brought more excitement to the set.
The director revealed that the movie promises to be a thrilling entertainer with no dull moments. He praised Kavya Thapar for perfectly embodying her character, while Anisha Ambrose, known for her performance in Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, delivered an emotional song without the use of glycerine.
Vaitla also expressed his gratitude for the entire team’s dedication, saying, “I could make the movie the way I wanted because of the complete support from Gopichand. His commitment to the project made everything flow smoothly.”

Speaking at the pre-release event, Gopichand shared his own experience of working on Viswam. He expressed his admiration for the hard work put in by the crew, particularly when filming in some challenging locations. Gopichand also had high praise for Chetan, a talented Telugu composer known for his work on RX 100. “Chetan’s fresh sound really shines in Moroccan Maguva, and he has excelled with the background score,” Gopichand said, appreciating the musical contributions that elevated the film’s overall impact.
While discussing his experience on set, Gopichand humorously admitted that he struggled to keep a straight face during the comedy scenes, leading to multiple takes. “I couldn’t help but laugh on the set. We had to go for many takes because of me,” he confessed with a smile.
The actor also took a moment to speak about his close bond with Sreenu Vaitla, referring to him as a brother. “Sreenu creates such a comfortable atmosphere for his actors. I truly enjoyed this journey. Besides unlimited fun, the movie also has intense action. I can confidently say that Sreenu Vaitla is back and with a bang.”
