Fans Disappointed as “Daavudi” Song Misses Theatrical Release
Missing “Daavudi” Song Disappoints NTR Fans in Devara
Junior NTR’s latest film Devara, directed by Koratala Siva, has finally hit theatres after much anticipation. Fans were excited to see NTR on screen again after a six-year gap, creating huge buzz for the movie. Despite the film’s positive reception and strong advance bookings, there’s one major letdown for fans—the omission of the much-awaited Daavudi song.
“Daavudi” Song: A Huge Hit on Social Media
Before the film’s release, Anirudh Ravichander’s energetic composition, Daavudi, had already created a massive following on social media. Fans loved the catchy beats and the vibrant dance performances by Junior NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. The song quickly became a fan favorite and was expected to be a key moment in the film. However, fans were surprised and disappointed when it was missing from the theatrical release in India.
Song Only Included in IMAX Versions
Interestingly, the Daavudi song was not completely removed but instead played during the end credits in certain IMAX versions of the film. This left many fans in regular theatres confused and disappointed. The song’s absence created a gap in what would have been an otherwise euphoric cinematic experience, especially during a film starring a mass hero like NTR.
Fans’ Reactions and Expectations
Many fans expressed disappointment over not seeing Daavudi in the main film. The song’s exclusion diminished some of the excitement that had built up before the release. While Devara is still generating strong box office numbers, fans hoped to enjoy the full cinematic experience, including the much-anticipated song. Some even expressed that the movie would have been more enjoyable with the song included.
Devara’s Box Office Success Despite the Setback
Despite the missing song, Devara continues to perform well at the box office. Junior NTR’s star power and Koratala Siva’s direction have drawn large crowds, and advance ticket sales show sold-out shows in several cities.
