Fan War Between Mega and Nandamuri Camps Over “Aay” Movie
Mega and Nandamuri Fans Clash Over “Aay” Movie
The film “Aay”, starring Narne Nithin, brother-in-law of Jr NTR, was a hit at the box office. Produced by Allu Aravind and Bunny Vaas, the movie had a successful run. However, after its OTT release on Netflix, the film triggered a heated conflict between Mega and Nandamuri fans.
Controversial Scene Causes Uproar
The climax of “Aay” features a scene that sparked controversy. In the scene, the heroine’s father, a fan of Balakrishna, is beaten up by the hero’s father, a Chiranjeevi fan. This moment, which appeared to favor Chiranjeevi, upset Nandamuri fans.
While Chiranjeevi fans celebrated the scene, Nandamuri fans quickly reacted. They shared an old clip from Chiranjeevi’s “Donga Mogudu,” where he sells black tickets for NTR’s movie “Vetagadu”. In response, Chiranjeevi fans shared a clip from “Aditya 369,” showing Balakrishna playing the song “Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari” from Chiranjeevi’s film.
Fan Wars Escalate on Social Media Between Mega and Nandamuri
The back-and-forth between the two fan groups has been relentless. Mega fans praise the portrayal of Chiranjeevi in the film, while Nandamuri fans continue to counter with other examples. Both sides remain deeply engaged in the social media battle, determined to prove their hero’s superiority.
Heroes Remain Unaffected
Interestingly, while fans engage in heated debates, the heroes themselves show no signs of rivalry. In fact, Chiranjeevi recently credited Balakrishna’s “Samarasimha Reddy” as an inspiration for his own movie, “Indra.” Both stars maintain a friendly relationship, despite their fans’ ongoing conflict.
Will The Fan War Ever End?
As the controversy over “Aay” continues, it seems unlikely that the fan wars will calm down anytime soon. While the stars respect each other’s work, their fans remain divided. The hope is that one day, fans will celebrate both actors’ contributions to Telugu cinema without the need for conflict.
