Director Maruthi, known for his distinct storytelling style, visited the temples of Tirupati and Srikalahasti today, seeking divine blessings. He shared a few pictures from the pilgrimage on social media. However, what caught attention wasn’t just the spiritual aspect—it was the flood of questions from fans, especially those eagerly waiting for updates on his upcoming film ‘Raja Saab’ starring Prabhas.
As fans grew impatient, Maruthi decided to address the situation with a measured response.
Director Maruthi Clarity: “Be Lil Patient”
In response to fans asking for updates on Raja Saab, Maruthi posted on X (formerly Twitter):
“To give the accurate info, @peoplemediafcy on that job. Expecting CG output soon. Once those are verified, makers will announce the release date. Many external things are involved in this process. It’s not a one-man word or work, so things will take time. Be lil patient. Everyone is giving their best to match your expectations.”
The director’s statement highlights that the film’s visual effects are still being finalized, and the release date announcement will only come after that stage is completed.
High Expectations for ‘Raja Saab’
Raja Saab said to be a horror comedy, blending spooky thrills with humor. It features Prabhas in the lead role and includes Sanjay Dutt in a pivotal character. Niddhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan play the female leads.
The film produced by People Media Factory, and though it initially expected to release this month, the date has now pushed back due to the CGI-heavy post-production process.
A Big-Scale Film Needs Time
Given the star power of Prabhas and the genre’s scope, the film expected to come with high production values. Director Maruthi’s request for patience indicates that the team is working diligently to ensure that the final output meets the high standards set by the fans.
