Chaos Surrounds the Devara Pre-Release Event
NTR’s highly anticipated Devara pre-release event, directed by Koratala Siva, was canceled due to overcrowding. Thousands of fans gathered at the venue, and organizers struggled to control the crowd. As a result, they had no choice but to cancel the event, leaving many fans frustrated.
Overcrowding Leads to Pre-Release Event Cancellation
The team behind Devara planned the event at an indoor location, expecting a moderate crowd. However, between 15,000 and 20,000 fans arrived, overwhelming the venue’s capacity. This caused chaos, with fans breaking barriers and damaging property. Some fans even entered the area reserved for celebrities.
Celebrities Exit As Chaos Unfolds
As the situation worsened, stars like Naga Vamshi and Trivikram Srinivas exited the event. The Devara team also reached out to other celebrities, advising them not to attend. The event, meant to build excitement for the movie’s release on September 27th, was eventually canceled.
Police Intervene, Fans Injured
The police were called in to manage the growing crowd, but their efforts fell short. In an attempt to control the situation, they resorted to a lathi charge, which unfortunately resulted in some fans getting injured.
