Andhra Pradesh Delegation Leads the Charge at Davos: Babu and Lokesh Invite Key Investments
The Andhra Pradesh government delegation, led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Lokesh, is making its presence felt at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. They arrived yesterday and immediately began setting up meetings to attract investments for the state at World Economic Forum.
Chandrababu Naidu’s Meeting with Industry Giants
Chandrababu Naidu had his first major meeting in Davos with two key representatives from Nippon Steel: Aditya Mittal and Lakshmi Mittal. This meeting is significant because ArcelorMittal/Nippon Steel recently announced a ₹1.4 lakh crore investment in a 17.8-million-ton integrated steel project in Anakapalli. This is one of the largest greenfield projects in recent times.
By meeting such influential leaders, Naidu is positioning Andhra Pradesh as an investment hub. His vision and expertise could result in even more high-profile investments in the state.
Lokesh’s Leads Charge at Davos Proposal for a Golf City in Amaravati
IT Minister Lokesh also met with global investors. He proposed the development of a golf city in Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Lokesh assured the StoneCraft Group that the approval process would be expedited within 15 days if they agree to set up a golf course in the city.
If approved, this project could become one of Amaravati’s most important beautification initiatives. It would enhance the city’s infrastructure and appeal.
Focus on Investments and Growth
Both Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh are clearly committed to driving Andhra Pradesh’s growth. They are meeting with influential industry leaders and promoting key projects in Davos. These efforts could bring substantial investments to the state and improve its economic landscape.
As the delegation continues its work in Davos, Andhra Pradesh’s future looks brighter. The leaders’ strategic actions are setting the stage for significant progress.
