Balayya Fixes Sankranthi Release After Ravi Teja Misses
Balayya Steps In with NBK 109
With Ravi Teja out of the Sankranthi race, Nandamuri Balakrishna, also known as Balayya, is keen to grab this golden opportunity. His upcoming film, NBK 109, directed by Bobby Kolli, was initially scheduled for a December release. However, with Ravi Teja’s exit, the producers are now eyeing a Sankranthi release for Balayya’s movie. The tentative title for the film is Veera Mass, and it’s expected to hit theaters on January 12, 2025.
Big Films Line Up for Sankranthi 2025
The Sankranthi season is one of the most significant periods for the Telugu film industry. Major stars and filmmakers eye this festive slot months in advance, knowing that it’s a time when audiences flock to the theaters. For Sankranthi 2025, several big-budget films have already secured their release dates. Among the first to confirm is Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara, set to release on January 10, 2025. This film promises to be a massive entertainer for Chiranjeevi fans.
Ajith’s Film in the Race
Ajith’s film Good Bad Ugly, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, was also planned for release during Pongal. However, due to production delays, this project may miss the Pongal window. Instead, Ajith plans to release his much-awaited film Vidaamuyarchi in both Tamil and Telugu, offering a double treat for fans of the star.
Ravi Teja’s Injury Postpones RT75
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, who was initially aiming to release his 75th landmark film during this festival, has unfortunately had to delay its release. Directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu and produced by Sithara Entertainments, RT75 was one of the most anticipated films of the season. However, after suffering an injury on set, Ravi Teja has been advised to take a break for several months. This has pushed back the film’s release, much to the disappointment of his fans.
A Winning Streak for Balayya
Balakrishna’s last three films—Akhanda, Veera Simha Reddy, and Bhagavanth Kesari—have all been huge box-office successes. He is now aiming for his fourth consecutive hit with NBK 109. Interestingly, both Ravi Teja’s and Balakrishna’s films are produced by Sithara Entertainments. With RT75 now delayed, the production house is betting on Balayya to lead the Sankranthi race and deliver another blockbuster.
The Sankranthi Clash
Sankranthi 2025 is shaping up to be an intense competition, with films from major stars like Chiranjeevi, Ajith, and Balakrishna. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how these films perform, and with the festive spirit, it’s sure to be a grand celebration at the box office.
