In light of the tragic stampede incident during the special screening of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre, Revathi’s Family, has received significant support from Tollywood. Producer and Film Development Corporation Chairman, Dil Raju, stepped in to mediate between the family and the film team. He also took on the responsibility of resolving misunderstandings between the government and the film fraternity.
2 Crore Donation Announced for Revathi’s Family by Pushpa 2 Team
The Pushpa 2 team has pledged ₹2 crores to support Revathi’s family:
- Allu Arjun: Contributed ₹1 crore personally.
- Director Sukumar: Donated ₹50 lakhs.
- Production House: Offered ₹50 lakhs.
Allu Arjun’s father and prominent producer, Allu Aravind, visited the family in the hospital after obtaining prior police permission. He handed over the cheques to Dil Raju, entrusting him to ensure the support reaches the family.
Health Updates and Employment Assurance
During his visit, Allu Aravind shared that Sri Teja is recovering and is now out of danger, as ventilator support has been removed. Dil Raju assured Revathi’s husband, Bhaskar, that he would be provided with employment. Additionally, the family has been promised full support for Sri Teja’s medical treatment.
